Terri -- fabulous news!

Hav4boys, awwwww. I suspect I will be dating Jack soon. Your blocks are beautiful!

Janice -- so glad you have power. The internet will come.

Sewbizgirl -- thank you for the reminder, it is October after all and this month makes two years behind in my annual checkups. Time to make the appointment!

I hope everyone is having a good week. The weather in New Orleans is cool and humidity free and I love it! Time to put on a long sleeved jacket for class. It might be goodbye to summer frocks for a bit and a switch to autumn colors. Let's see what the weather does by mid-October next week. It is definitely sewing season for me!

Thanks everyone for your kind words on my blocks.

Thank you to everyone who has made me a block. I cannot wait to get my hands on them as I have plans for both sets this time.

My DIL's parents live in Cocoa, Florida on the eastern shore. Praying for the best. My aunt in Pisgah Forrest, NC was hit hard by Helene. I am ready for hurricane season to be done.

Just a quick check in. Am sitting in the car dealership using their wi-fi. Still without internet with no idea when it will be back on. Hoping everyone is well. We're just fine and appreciating reliable power for the first time in almost 10 days.

Have a great day everyone.

No news is good news, I guess. I have had a busy week that will not end until ... Saturday. Yearly physical, check, check. Sewing group, done. Made three kinds of scones, last night and baked them this morning. Well received and I came home this afternoon with two empty platters. I even made lemon curd too. Yum! Keeping one eye on the Detroit Tigers and the other on the next hurricane. Many family in the Tampa and Ft. Meyers areas. No sewing since Sunday, but wait....tomorrow is Thursday so I will have my Zoom meeting with my quilty friends for the afternoon. Yeah lots of stitching and chatter. Oh, and make cookies for another meeting tomorrow night.

Ibex, did you make your appointment? So important. Never miss one, never, never, never! Terri, so glad you for your "diagnosis". Ah, it must be such a relief.

More blocks later this week or likely this weekend.

HAV another fabulous block, the colors are a perfect compliment to the fabric.

Sorry I have been MIA for the past week or so, we are back in Wisconsin for a wedding. Hope to be back on the road again early next week.

Janice so happy that you once again have power. Hopefully soon things will be somewhat back to normal in the days to come.

Wow Terri, you sure have had a lot going on in your life, that was quite the shiner! Thank you for the lovely block you made for me, love the fabrics you chose!

Have4, another gorgeous paper pieced block you made for me! I wish I was comfortable enough to make paper pieced blocks, I am always so afraid I will not have enough fabric in the F8th to complete a block. Your paper pieced blocks rock!
