Have a great evening.
Janice McC, I have been away for awhile and when LogCabin82 showed me her blocks for this swap, I realized how much I missed the creativity of the Boom Swaps. I hope you will allow me to join the next Boom 34 on July 27. I will have finished the 2nd All Michigan Quilt Shop Hop (102 stores this year) by then and will be ready to sew! I will try to catch up on the conversation too!

Hi Duckling! Wow... 102 stores to shop hop! Hope your pocketbook doesn't blow up! I WISH we had 102 stores within driving distance here.
Great to hear from you.

Holy cow I am sure Minnesota doesn’t have 102 quilt shops in the entire state. And good thing or I would be broke

Good sunny, windy and warm afternoon from WNC. Boy, did we have storms roll through here for an hour or 2 this morning! We caught the very edge of the storms that caused so much damage and death in Missouri and Kentucky. It was a whopper. At one point I thought our three skylights would break from the hail but all is well. The girls, thankfully, slept through the whole thing. They’re already back with their folks. Their camping plans changed at midnight when they realized what was coming at them. They packed out about 1 am in the pitch black. Not quite the restful evening they’d hoped for!

Ah, it’s Shop Hop time for some. I like doing a few shops but lose interest in all the driving and the shops begin to look the same to me. I frequent my local stores regularly and am pretty satisfied with that.

Another bear sighting, this time a baby, so momma wasn’t far off. This was two houses down so a quick email went out to neighbors to be on the lookout.

I need to get my binding done for the BH quilt. I’m just in a lull and cannot seem to get motivated. Oh, well. I’ve got backings for four others all ready so I just need to sandwich them before the Juki and I can finish them. Oh, well, one day!

Have a good rest of your weekend!

Glad to hear folks are interested in Boom 34!

Those tornadoes! My goodness, how scary! My heart and prayers goes out to everyone affected.

Glad you were able to have a fun sleepover with the girls, Janice.

Tornado struck in my middle DD’s town. Kid’s took pictures on their school bus. Thankfully no one was hurt and the bus driver was able to get the kids safely to her home.

We have just had terrible winds, a huge tree split in half at the lake and went down on our neighbors boat lift and dock. They are waiting to hear back from their insurance company. Lots of wild weather

The winds have kept me inside and your blocks were so perfectly done and so easy to put together. Sewing each block I saw so many new things in the items - thank you
I got two made and used up large fun pieces for the back. I also took Macy's teddy bear block and made a bag out of it. I will insert a book and give it to someone.
A pleasure for sure

Good evening! TG love the quilt pix. Thanks for sharing them. You can send that bag you made to me as my grand’s would love it! lol. I might steal your bag idea.

Terriamn, how scary! These tornadoes are frightening and now seem to be able to happen almost anywhere.

Still no piecing or quilting but my bathroom got a scrub from stem to stern. I continue with PT three times a week. Today I walked out of there dripping wet from the exertion. Still lots to do as I’m much weaker than I ever realized. Shame on me for not taking better care of myself.

Tomorrow is watch the grands day. Better rest up!

Travelinggramma, what wonderful I Spy quilts! Your book bag is darling too. Great work!

Janice, hang in there. I believe you can get back to 100%. It just takes time.

Janice it’s been storming here also and it’s cold. Actually colder here than in Alaska. One clasp of thunder put me several inches off of my chair. Glad I wasn’t drinking my coffee at that time.

Just about over the all the time changes and the run run mode. Hope to get back to a normal schedule soon.

Last year we had no graduation open houses and this year we have 5, trying to keep all the dates straight is not my forte!

TG your I spy quilts and book back turned out so fun. They will bring a smile to ab youngsters face.

Janice good for you keeping up with all your PT, it is a real chore.

Thinking about cleaning out the master closet today. It needs reorganizing and a through cleaning. Yuck
