Terriamn, glad you are better following that trauma. I hope your grands are ok. Must be so upsetting for them.

Ibex, happy to hear your pkg is arriving today. I think a couple of others are due, too. Enjoy playing with the fabric. I’ve had a wonderful time so far playing with mine. I’m thrilled I have two sets this round.

Here’s my last block for a little bit. It’s for GramE. What a burst of purple among (or is it amongst?) the other F8s. I had a little trouble deciding where to use the yellow but a variation on Aunt Dinah hit the spot for me. Hope you like it GramE.

So, I’m all set for all you Roses to start making blocks. I expect as early as this weekend they’ll start showing up. So excited to see what blocks and fabrics you use. Enjoy.

Time to straighten up the sewing room after my flurry of sewing to get ready to make more.

Anyone have any long weekend plans? We’re just hanging out, definitely not going into town since it’s about to be taken over by tourists!

Great blocks, Janice!
Terri, glad to hear you are 90% better. What a relief.
I feel better but have ZERO energy. I guess I'll have to build that back with time.
Lstew, congrats on the sale of your camp. Enjoy your new adventures.
It's actually cool and windy today! Hoping a lot of rain is being blown our way. We need it!

Just checked and my F8s are out for delivery today! Looking forward to seeing them!

I did not get to sew a block for myself today. But I did make some 6.5" wonky star blocks for my super scrappy stars collection. This is a long term project with no specific end point. I will just slog on until I say FINISHED! I am using scraps and some are from our Boom Swaps.

My package has reached the Indianapolis Distribution Center where the last boom package got stalled for a couple of weeks. I am less concerned this time around because I know I can work my way through the 19 blocks on time.

Lovely blocks, Janice. Enjoy your holiday week-end. I have some quilting time set aside and a boat ride on Lake Michigan on Saturday with dinner afterwards in Saugatuck. That will be good enough for me.

It is amazing Janice. I love it. And I love the one you posted before it.
I do like that little bit of yellow. I might include it on the sashing on each corner

I’m sitting here like a horse at the starting gate waiting too long for someone to throw open the gate! I had trouble tonight focusing on anything. I constantly found myself looking at possible blocks. Has anyone noticed that many newly designed blocks are including triangles but on the inner block so no tips are at risk of being chopped? It seems as if everyone is sensitive to this fact this time around. It’s ok with me. Cutting the tip off the triangles is like severing an artery sometimes, not what I wanted to do!

Good morning. It’s another brisk morning, just perfect.

GramE, I’m happy you like the block. Love your purple and it looks terrific with the addition of the yellow.

Nine packages were delivered yesterday so today the rest should show up. Who will be the first to post a block?

Have a lovely day.
