Lstew, thank you for my block. It is exactly the idea I had in mind. Woo hoo! Your other blocks are great, too.

A2P a 6 foot alligator? All the rest of the animals you and Janice have around you is fascinating, I would never leave my house.

My big white envelope arrived yesterday while I was lolly-gagging on Lake Michigan. Gorgeous day to be on the lake. I counted 19 little fat-8ths, so all are present and accounted for.

Alligators, not in my back yard! I'll stick to my sand-hill cranes, Canada geese, deer, muskrats, possums, voles, moles, chippys, rabbits squirrels and an occasional wild turkey or harmless garter snake and that is enough for me. I miss our birds since the management of the condo neighborhood has banned bird feeders. Most of our birds have moved on to better feeding neighborhoods and delighting other bird watchers. I hear some out in the marsh but the abundance of birds right at our doors have disappeared.

Beautiful block, Janice! I like the name of the block, too. It sounds like you got to visit your LQS so I hope you did find something new and exciting to look at despite lack of my shrimp color.

Thank you!

All of these blocks are beautiful!

Thank you SBG for passing the word of my internet issues. The xfinity guy was here for 3 hours running new lines into the house! Last night. We have three different cable boxes going into our house and none of them had uncorroded connections. I am so thankful that this guy was tenacious enough to root through all the boxes, eliminate bad hardware, and secure us a fresh line.

Now to decide what patterns I want to use for everyone's fabrics. My package has arrived and I forgot to count my baggies. Since the project is packed into my car already, I will have to get back to you if anything is missing. I'm sure they are all there :-)

I think I have found enough fabric in my stash to handle everyone's wants and wishes. My turkeys are somewhere in my stash but those will have to wait until I return to MS next weekend. Happy Labor Day weekend everyone!

Terriamn, hugs! Sometimes it helps to remember that it is a chemical issue, not a true emotional issue. (At least that is what I tell myself to get me through depression.) You are a person full of joy and love, and you are a good person. You do not deserve to be shaken to the soul with dopamine-sapping chemicals washing over your brain. The fact that you have gotten some relief with your doctor's help means you are going to get rid of the issues causing the depression, soon. God bless you on this scary journey. Remember to eat foods that make you feel good. Avoid the foods that you ate before this latest round of depression. The new meds are likely changing the way your body metabolizes food so things that did not give you a bad reaction before, may be doing it now. I am glad your husband recognizes his limits and you have friends he can call to help. He wants what is best for you.

One for me today. It’s for TG. TG, I hope this works for you. I had trouble finding a terra-cotta’ish fabric to go with yours. I settled on this batik from my stash. It has dots of other colors but it worked otherwise. I went with it. If it displeases you, I can try again. Let me know. Sorry the pic is wonky. The block is square.

Ernie seems a little more tired today than usual. He did a lot of walking yesterday. I washed his bed and it’s puffed up like a marshmallow. He’s happily ensconced in the puffiness. What a good dog!

Ibex, glad you got the internet sorted. It’s tough being without it for even a few days. I’m happy you’ve got your package and I’m looking forward to seeing your blocks.

Wmuteach, you’ve got your package and I expect to see blocks in the not too distant future.

Have a good day, Roses.

Janice - love my block. Fabric works. I am hoping to see all sorts of hours on both colors. Hmm- shrimp color vs terracotta.

Ernie shore has the life.

Am very pleased you like it. *Smiling*

Ernie did luck out to get us as adopters but we lucked out getting such a sweet pup. Poor guy, it’s easy to see he was roughed up by somebody in the past. You’ve got to be ultra gentle with him but he’s far more trusting than he used to be. Am very happy with him.
