WMUTeach and SusieQ, great blocks! I like be coming here and seeing your handiwork.

WMUTeach, I need to look up the virtual quilting weekend thread some time. We have several local farmers markets. They always have the freshest veggies and fruits.

SBG, love the little girl and her pup. Glad you like the block.

Here’s my last block for today. It’s my last set one block and it’s for Nelco. The block is busy so I’m not 100 percent pleased with it. I did enjoy making it and it came together easily. Hope you like it Nelco.

Have a good evening.

I was going through the fabric and reading requests. Got to Janice's blue fabric and had a good laugh. Ignore directional fabric. No-can-do. I wish I could.

Have a great day everyone.
Love these Christmas blocks, they are great.

Here’s one for MJP. Hope it’ll work for you.

Susieq we must be sharing the same karma, I sewed the flip side of one side of fabric, turned my fabric so the fussy cutting was going the wrong way when I sewed it and reversed sewing on a couple triangles. Decided to put everything away for another time

Janice and HAV love your blocks
If I make one mistake on a block it seems to multiply. I have to walk away.

I feel like we eat the same things each and every week, It gets boring. I want to try different recipes, but the hubby is a meat and potatoes kind of guy. Drives me nuts.

I have only one more left in my first set. Maybe I’ll decide on a pattern and sew it up later.

Does anyone have any fun plans this weekend? We’re free to do nothing if we choose. No errands, appointments or shopping needed. Woo hoo.
I have no plans except visit my sewing room. My Juki Mid arm sewing machine was delivered yesterday and I plan on setting it up on the frame. Then it is on to quilting some tops that need to be finished.

I also went to the farmer's market for the first picking of grapes, my favorite and some peaches that are nearly gone for the season. Lovely cool day at 61 degrees but next week the forecast is to return to normal temps of upper 70's to low 80's.

Here are my first three blocks. One particularly does not look square, but.... all are square. I am a quilter not a photographer.

Returning to my sewing room to make a couple more blocks today and to eat grapes. Tee-Hee-Hee

Janice, it may be a bit busy but I think it's really nice and I bet the recipient will agree. I'm thinking the same with my block for Sewbiz. Some fabrics are just a little more challenging but that's part of the fun. I'm rocking those 12.5 inch seams!!!!!!!!!
Thanks for the tips.

What pretty blocks, Janice, SusieQ and WMUT! I love my Norman Rockwell block, Susie! Thank you.

I've been making blocks yesterday and today. Now my mojo is coming back! We are getting back into the swing of block making, I think. So many pretty blocks are here everytime I check.

Have fun!

Great blocks, Lstew! What you did with MJP's batik and block print is genius!

lol, SusieQ! You’re rocking the seams? Woo hoo for you!

Sometimes I just love a block and sometimes I don’t. I’m more critical of my own work.

Here is my last for the day, one for Hav4Boys, Potatoes with butter! Ok, I admit it is one of my favorite side dishes. I can easily make potatoes my main dish but it is not the healthiest choice, I know. None the less, I love them. Hope it will pair up with all of your other fruits and veggie potholders. Wink, Wink!

Janice, the VQW is often the second weekend of the month, but now and again it will be shifted to fit around holidays. I will try to remember to mention it in October when it is posted.
