Here’s a block for myself. A Contrary white. My red has a small white print which is unobtrusive and the light brown is an old piece that was popular years ago. Watercolors maybe? I’ve got another cut out too. Hope to get to see it tonight.

Decided to spend my lunch break visiting local quilt shops looking for the batik fabric for my SBG quilt blocks. I stopped at three shops and finally struck paydirt at the last one! 🎉 Totally made my day.

I’m loving all the gorgeous blocks everyone has been sharing. And a special thank you to those who made blocks for me — they are beautiful and so appreciated. 💕

Good to hear from you Hav. I hope your sister is holding up or is as well as can be expected under such sad circumstances. Wishing her and your family the best. Glad you found your fabric for SBG’s block. We all look forward to seeing what you come up with this round.

Pretty block, WMUTeach! Thank you! I’m looking at a sashing of dark blue and maybe the brown. We’ll see.

Hi all. Just popping in to say I've finished my first block. SBG, this is a Road to Oklahoma block in your brown with plain white. I hope you can use it. Sorry, my phone won't post it.

My oldest was here for 3 weeks. She and I were busy creating baskets for wheelchairs and mobility scooters. My 83 y.o. brother also came over for a few days. Maybe now I can focus on the Boom blocks. All the fabrics are so interesting.

Take care & stay safe.

I decided that I had the time and mental space to make one more block today before I do the evening clean up of my sewing room. I am trying to not just close the door on a mess but to pick up at least some of it so I can start fresh tomorrow.

I went rooting in my batiks and found some blue with bubbles to add to SBG's whales. The pattern is called "Patience" and as simple as it is, trying to keep the whales going in the planned direction called for...... patience.

I love it, WMUT! Thank you for the pretty block.
Thanks also to A2P for the Road to Oklahoma block. Will look forward to seeing it!

I quilted more of the Burgoyne Surrounded today. I'm loving it! I will need a couple more days to get the quilting done on it. I should have a picture for y'all by the weekend.

WMUTeach, your Patience block is perfect for SBG’s whales. Love the bubble batik! SBG I look forward to seeing your quilt when it’s done.

My new microwave is to be delivered and installed today. Out with the Stone Age one and in with the new.

Have a grand day. The weekend is almost here.
