Jupiter your quilt is FANTABULOUS!!!

I am sorry I haven't been around much. I have been working 6 days a week 10 hours a week and trying to squeeze in errands and finishing orders I have for purses. OMG. I am so pooped.

Tonight (i work 3rd shift) or this morning, I was almost done with the last paying cusomer's bag and wouldn't you know it, my iron died!!

My husband has just left for the woods to go bow hunting so I texted him. He said he doesn't know what it is with me and irons.

I almost cried when i realized it died. I have my boomerang fabrics washed and ironed and ready to cut.

Darn it anyway!

Missgiggle-beautiful quilt! I love how the blocks went together so well!

Jupiter I was wondering if your avatar picture was a quilt or a painting-it is stunning and I love it-congrats on your ribbon-it is definitely deserved~

Thank you for the kudos. I don't think I told you about the quilt... I drew the pattern from a photo of me when I was 13 years old riding my horse bareback. We had been to Little Britches Rodeo the day before and won a ribbon for tying a ribbon onto a goat's tail in fast time, that is the green ribbon hanging on the side of his bridle.

hugs, Jupiter

I just got home from house/dog sitting for my brother's family and found I had received a grown up blocks from Oatw13-2 very nice squares-the materials are very similar to other pieces I've received. I haven't been getting up dates on my e-mail for a few days-I thought it was weird that nothing new had been posted with this chatty group-when I logged in today there were 5 new pages! That's more the norm.
Glad to see everybody's been working on our blocks-and the quilt by MissGiggleWings was so nice! Everyone's quilts are going to be beautiful going by the pictures that have been posted.

I am back! actually I was home but had visitors, my niece and sister. While they were here I thought my niece to quilt and left with a beautiful quilt made of a jelly roll. Well, my sister is still with me until Thursday and of course she is all into quilting, today Sunday we spent the entire day in my quilting room.

Montanablu,
your block is ready- you won't believe what happened! I thought your fabric was a pale orange and found the perfect brown/orange fabric to coordinate. When I finished your block and took it to the family room to put it in the envelope I realized that your fabric was pink!!! OMG- I made a bubu big deal. Well, with the left over I made you a new block. I am pleased. I'll mail it Tuesday and will send you both so you laugh with me when you see the first attemp.
love
Leakus

Leakus, you were partially right - it is kind of coral, peachy...whatever you choose to call it. So pink/orange - either one or both may work w/all the different blocks I've recv'd so far. Now I can't wait for the mailman! (the one who brings my mail, not my own DH ;-)

I received a wonderful grown up pinwheel from Quiltlin! What a wonderful square, you did a great job using the stripe fabric.
