It's fun - don't sweat it!
That's not hard for me. I am not a "sweat it" kinda girl. I am a pretty laid back California chick. I am hoping to really enjoy this and I see no reason why I won't. Everyone I have met here has been lovely. Fun place to hang out!

Fabric bought today - LQS is cutting it for me (yeahhhh) and then home to wash and hopefully in the mail to all of you new quilting friends on Monday. Already got my thinking cap working overtime seeing the fabrics some of you have chosen.

The boomerangs are really fun, just wait until you stay getting your grown up blocks back. Even after being in 3(I did 2 groups in #4) I can believe the different squares that come back from the same F8 material! This is also a time to try out different squares-sometimes it's easier to try out on one square before jumping into making a whole quilt. I thinks it's great to mix the different levels of difficulty and skills it make a beautifully well-rounded quilt.

Di, thanks, that's my grandson, Logan, 17 months old. He's a real character, I babysit him daily while my daughter teaches. He's the joy & light of my life (next to his Mom).

He's actually saying, "no-no", we always waive our finger when we say no- no, so he has adapted that. He'll do something he knows is a no-no and waive his finger at us and say it, and run the other way. It's so hard to not burst out laughing.

The second time around is the most wonderful time of your life!

Wendsy, I feel the same about trying new blocks. Some I'll never make again, others I make over and over!

Ladies I decided to sit this swap out but plan on keeping up with the thread. The fabrics being sent out are awesome and I can't wait to start seeing blocks.
