Surgery went well....in some pain, but manageable. Wish I could sew to keep my mind off the pain...maybe in a few more days!

We had to PO hold our mail while we were camping with lynnquilts and families....I received 3 blocks and love them all.
From shnnn I received a really cool block made with my red "fire" print fabric which will go very well with the others I have received. Plan to make a "boy's" charity quilt with these blocks!

From marymo I received a pretty scrappy block made from my Mary Engelbreit paisley fabric. Thinking I'll make a "girl's" charity quilt! Thanks, Mary, for the cute "happy sewing" magnet! sew cute!

From hoppyfrog I received a very pretty paper pieced star block, called "Could Be Christmas!" made from my butterfly fabric. Beautiful work, Shelley...I love and appreciate the precision of paper piecing. Thank you so much for the extra work it took for you to make me this block! Originally I was keeping the quilt I'd make out of the Mary E paisley, and making a charity quilt out of the butterfly fabric. Thinking I will reverse them and keep the cute butterflies for one of my granddaughters!!!

Anyway, I love all the blocks I have received. Thank you all, sew very much, for sharing your creative talents with me and our other swappers!! I'm very excited about the charity quilts I will be making and I know whoever receives them will love them too!!

Pictures in a few days.

Dotty, I made the first block on the left. It's called the "Comfort Quilt" Block, from Eleanor Burns' book entitled, Victory Quilts (blocks from WWII). Hope you like it!

Theresa - I haven't found my boom fabric yet- but it's here somewhere!! I don't have Internet yet, and my phone isn't very friendly to scroll back through. Would you pm me your correct address please?
I am nearly finished moving, I hope seems like everytime it gets close I find another pile of hubby's stuff. By the end of this week I hope to be working on the rest of my boom blocks, and have them out by monday
