Pink slip!?!? I hope this is a "good" thing for you. I'd like one, but can't afford it! Every time my family gives me a hard time about my "hoard" of fabric, lovingly referred to as "my stash", I tell them I am preparing for retirement. I could live off that thing for years. LOL

My block to you Yosemitsea, is going to look so good in there. I went to sew up the red white black block which I so meticulously picked out the right red for and was the last of a good piece, and sewed it up wrong on the star point. Now, do I rip it out and resew it or do I make another block? I have enough of her fabric to do another block but not anymore of the wonderful red fabric i used. Humph, this is a dilema. Cannot believe it. Pressed each seam as went, too such great care to match up seams and bam, hit in the head. Well, will figure it out. Just so you know I am on the ball. I have two completed and moving forward. All are cut out nice and neatly and laid out so can just sew them up in am, lunch, and night. Will get them done for sure.

No, its not what I wanted ... and I certainly can't afford to be out of work for very long, but I certainly am looking forward to a couple of days of sleeping in, doing what I want to do when I want to do it ... after a few days I will begin looking for a new job, but I'm not going to worry about it yet.
