Wow what a variety of blocks you received. Your so luckyyour mail box must have been singing. Mine is singing the blues.. collecting dust bunnies, laughing at me everytime I peak inside. whats with mailbox's and attitudes? I am going now to try to find that pic of the fabric your lost with.. curiosity is making me search it out! I show my posts when I read here from page one to last page so its never where anyone says it is.. darn! but its easy for me to find first to last I dont like going backwards .. way to confussing for me!

I am hoping to cut and sew tonight, at least a few blocks. I try to do this especially when the Saints are playing so I don't throw anything at the TV and it keeps my stress level down as I'm watching them play. It has been a LONG year and is still going to be a LONG year.

nexxus, i am doing a "get well wiggle", my adaptation of a get well dance. this cold wet weather has inspired a cold in me, too. i fly to dallas tomorrow--After VOTING-- and i'm hoping it's warm there. i remember november as a transitional month, lots of rain, some cold some warm. i could use the warm! as could so many on the east coast. is any particular group collecting and distributing quilts?

    Race update:
I finished the race but well I am sorry to say my time was terrible! an hour longer than my slowest race! I had some real major issues going on! Not wanting to gross anyone Out I had what is commonly referred to as "the runner trots" and believe me it is the most terrible thing that can happen to a runner! (they never put the porta potties close enough together if you have this problem) I also had some issues with the ugly blisters I got from running in the rain in Seattle, they all broke open again on the new baby skin and I had a bloody foot! Spent 15 minutes in the medical tent! I thought they were going to pull the plug on me, but the doc said to slow it down take it easy and if it started to hurt to stop! I kinda listened to him, till I got to the finish line then I bolted! So anyway I am very glad to be able to say I finished, with all the set backs I know I should be very proud! Next one will be faster!

    Diamond Update:

OK, I am now organized enough to report in official like! I received some totally awesome blocks while I was out of town! And Jaba- Jan Bless your heart, I love the reindeer you sent me! It is awesome. Thank you thank you thank you!

I received blocks from Penny- Oldcatlady, 2 from Donna- Luvs2sew2011; Diamonds and Pearls, and one from Nexxus, Melinda, I will post picks later, as I am slowly moving around today!

Marybeth I am so proud of you!!! You did it through flu, blisters, trots and all, you had a goal and finished it!! Not too many people would have done that, would have been easier to give up. Not you, accomplished , crossed off that bucket list and you should be very proud. Now miss, take care of those blisters OUCH!! hope the other is over , and give yourself and pat on the back and a big hug for me. Well done, my friend!! P>S> glad you liked little "rudey" your reward for all the hard work and dedication!
