Thanks Jaba, I made her two blocks, one with a different fabric, then made one with both fabrics together and have the scraps in bag ready to send back.

I did manage to finally get all the blocks cut and stacked in nice piles in a box just for the swap. I will not get to sew this coming long weekend, but will get them worked on next week and mailed accordingly. Trying to get them out before the Christmas rush.

Maybe...however next time I'm gonna do half the group for my hubby's team and the other half for my mother-in-law's team, so they each get a quilt next year. They have both been SO patient. So...one large group, here I come again. I think I'm going to get my stuff ordered and cut and packaged up so that all I have to do is address and off they go.

I am off work and it is raining, so good day to sew, right. If anyone sees the quilting police--tell them I moved.
I TOTALLY UNDERSTAND!!! I had a day like that not that long ago. The fabric got matted in the feed dogs, the thread wouldn't go stay on the top layer and the bottom bobbin knotted in one BIG mess!!! Ugh, I totally feel for you. Hugs!!!

    Hello Everyone
I am alive!! Sorry I have been so quiet this go round. It seems like life wanted to give me so much to deal with. Aside from my brain surgery in September I have been dealing with issues for Izabella. I think I am getting on top of it all now though...I hope
New Rounds start in January so keep those blocks moving. I am working on my side swap blocks now and I will have them home before the deadline I promise.
Any questions, complaints or anything else please let me know.
    Huge Hugs
    April

My camera died so can you please take a pic of my block before you send it home! We are going to get a new one, but waiting for sales!

This morning I actually took a picture of fabric with my web cam! It was ok but the color was not the best!
Give a smile away today, someone you meet might need one!

Well, I made one block with a gold fabric I had that looks awesome together, then I made another block with both fabrics so that way I was in the ball park and packed up the left overs for you. I figured I had to hit both marks without an issue then.

I imagine when he does get that quilt he will never let it go! I still have something to make for you, I have not forgotten, I am just waiting to have some free time in my sewing room to create!

He is so adorable, how old is he?

We are down in Orange County again, trying to finish this job! Hope we are done before Thanksgiving, but if not we will find a nice restaurant and keep on painting!

Honestly I am so Thankful for a Paying job right now! So many don't have work right now.

Yosemitesa, what a wonderful little one. Keep those photos somewhere you can find them 20 yrs fromnow when you mention it in front of his girlfriend and he says I NEVER did that your exagerating MOM. lol thenyou get out the handy dandy photo album and.. tada!

I received a lovely block from Mosher92 yesterday but forgot batteries again. I think that camera eats them. Its not a newer digital probably amongst the older ones but the price was right, free so I love it and with batteries it works marvelously. Its the person who buys the batteries who sucks. So if you have a pic please post it for me! thank you for those I have received and for those coming in the mail (rubbing hands together with glee)
HEY Marytoddliz, where is the photo of the new girly hair cut? I will have someone take one of my new butchered hair cut if you show your girly one. You see my good old buddy pal cut my hair. She did a great job last time so what the heck. The difference was last time I had a bottle of wine she was two glasses into it and hair was great. This time no wine. NEVER ever allow friends to use scissors on you sober. as in EVER.
