I've decided I have more purple than most anything else, so mine is going to be mainly purple. lol, then I'm thinking, ok, that needs some green and that needs some yellow and black and purple on this block...So now I'm just whatever, they can get the fabric and I can be surprised on what comes back!

April, since we are to wash our fabric before cutting and mailing, I would assume that everyone is to wash their own fabric before making the blocks? I know that sounds like a silly question, but you talk about sending no fabric or block with fragrances -- some might think their fabric has no strong smells.

April, you are such a good leader! I for one do NOT consider myself an expert, even though Ive been quilting since 1991. I was always told that to make it a perfect quilt you have to have some personal touches in it or it looks like something off an asembly line? Im glad to read what others like, like orange and bold fabrics even though I prefer the "older" colors and patterns. It would be a boring world if we all liked the same thing! I sent you a PM with my information. Cant wait!

Ok so I have this green batik with a few other colors I will be sending that I wouldn't mind brights or any color it will be fun to see what different people come up with for the same fabric. I love that no 2 people do things the same.

I think I decided on something different after going to JoAnn's and picking up more novelty fabric. lol I have pups and cats, chickens, mice, horses, etc. I'll probably never get around to making anything as big as a quilt with them without help. Sooo...novelty fabric it is. HEE. Now I'm really going to love seeing what comes back to me.
