Calendar Sun Bonnet Sue - Sign-up Closes 28 Feb 2010
#371
Well, ladies, I will see how far I get tonight. They are all bonded and half are mostly sewn. I may be a couple of days late mailing. I will definatley get them out this week though. Now wish I wouldn't have put the tree on.
It is a first for me also, sorry that my stitching is not very good when it comes to the curves etc. The palm branches are just going to get straight stitches. I started using a zigzag, but after looking at yours maybe I will try the blanket stitch on the machine. I thought it would be harder but maybe not.

Thanks, Karen. Don't tell anybody .. ... but she has a ruffle because I lost her shoe/foot! But once I did the ruffle, I liked it and did four or five with a ruffle. I thought it lost some of the wind-blown look with the ruffle on, but still liked it.

I looked at the group activities page and am worried. Are there really that many swappers who's blocks haven't arrived? I sent mine out priority on Saturday and am worried about whether or not they made it.
