Debra - it's going to be some time before I do anything with my chicken blocks, so if you change your mind, let me know. You should have another block, it's only fair!!!!!!!!! so please don't be shy about it, okay?

Hey all, we found the problem!!!!!!! Moosegirl was sent 12, when she only sent in 6. So, together with the extra 6 I have hear, I think we have found the missing set!!! I'll get the other six back and make a set, and send them to their rightful henhouse asap!!!!!!!!

BRT & Sandpat - thanks for stepping up and offering to help out in my mix up. You are the best!!!!!!!

Not a problem! I am glad we figured out the problem. (Although I didn't mind sharing! :D )

I will post pictures of my doubles if anyone wants to do an additional swap when I get my chickens. Have a great Monday everyone!

You and me both Patti! This situation really upset me. It's the first swap I've ever organized and I couldn't believe how challenging it was...I hated that I messed it up for someone!!!! All is well that ends well here...I'm glad sweet Shelanie will get her blocks!!!!!

Next time we should all write on the outside of the mailer that we are to get 6 or 12. That way the head swapper will know how many blocks to put in each envelope. I wish I could have had one of everybodies but not enough hours in the day. I have some I didn't send so I'm gonna add them to the pot. Rachel, I really liked yours. The fabric was so pretty.

I received all my blocks today! I received 17 unique blocks, and 13 that were duplicates/were my own. (NOT COMPLAINING...) So, that means if anyone is interested, I have 9 of my own blocks, 2 of Shelanie's and 2 of Knot Sew's available to swap. (I don't mind keeping Shelanie's or Knot Sew's, too cute!!) I already made extras of my own blocks, so I don't need any of my own. 8 of my blocks are americana chickens, one is embroidered with red/white piecing.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE all the blocks! So many creative solutions to chickens! I can't wait to get them together in a quilt. I am brainstorming sashing as we speak...

I am fighting with my cell phone, but as soon as I figure out the glitch, I'll post pictures!

    Thanks all!
