MizMelly... Me too! I got everything laid out last night & sorted into the various 'piles' ready to box up. I enjoy 'giving'.

I am happy to see all the ornaments are being mailed and received. Yes, this is suppose to be a secret swap, but I realize that it is sometimes hard to do with return addresses. Being my first year I may not of been clear about that in the rules. Will have to remember that for next year, if you will all have me back as your hostess.

I am running behind due to a family emergency which caused me to go out of town. I just arrived back at home about a half hour ago. I will get caught up on the board tomorrow and will announce the winner of our last contest and get your prize out to you by Thursday. I want to thank everyone who submitted all the recipes. I have marked a couple that I definitely want to try this year.

There will not be a contest this week. Figured we could all use the time to get our ornaments done But never fear next Monday a new contest will be announced.

I really hope everyone is having fun.

I have mailed my swap package today as promised. Postal clerk said 6 days but that is from Australia to the USA via airmail, no idea what the internal delivery time will be but hopefully another week after that. That makes the ETA approx. the 20th November but it is know that the actual postage time may be a little longer. With any sort of luck it should be there before the 3rd December.

Yes, things are getting better! I ended up kicking a repair person to the curb who tried to hand me a bill for hundreds of dollars when it was just a simple system check and service for my heat pump. I suppose it's a rhetorical question, but why is it that any service, whether it's something at the house or car ends up being much more expensive than anticipated because of things "needing immediate attention". I'm getting better at saying NO and sticking to my guns.
