KLue, I'm going to give paper piecing a try, and thought I'd practice on my little L7 block with scraps. It looks like fun to paper piece!

excellent idea and thats a great block to try it with. i love paper piecing. i'm doing some jane paper piecing right now. i'm working on H5.

A5, A6, B6, B13, C3, C12, D6, D13, E3, H13, I1, I2, J7, K2, M5, M10, M12

the blocks that have 2 people making them are closed unless we reach 54 people in the swap - then i would open it up to triplicates.

have you been using the DJ rulers?

i'm thinking about getting them, do you think its a good idea?

does anyone else have the DJ rulers?

I have them. I've only used the square. It's better than just using a 5 in square. I'm not an expert quilter by no means but I think they aer good. The lines on the square line up so well with the blocks, not just the edges but even the middle. I's doing a poor job ofexplainning, bit I can say I don't regret buying them.

Yes, the ruler set is a must!!! The triangle is unique-the square has good lines for the block components to square.
