i had that problem yesterday, i finally tossed the block in the trash and walked away.

it was late and i was tired thats never a good mix when quilting.

I don't know if it's ambitious or self-inflicting torture. [/quote]

Here is a pic of my first trail of B-4, Do I square it down to 4.5" or leave it at 4 7/8"?

it looks great.

don't cut it down to 4.5, actually the next ones you do try to get them closer to 5 inches.

the DJ blocks are 5 inches unfinished and when you sew them into a quilt they become 4.5 inches.

don't worry if they are 4.875 everyone will make adjustments on their end, either by blocking the block or sewing them in with a scant 1/4 inch seam.

Suzic LOVE the block and fabric

Check with Klue , but I thought they were suppose to be 5 inches.

Okay, I'll make an adjustment on the last row. The pattern states that it is a 4.5" block, but measures at 4 7/8", so I'll just add 1/8". Thank you!!

yes, the size listed on the pattern is for the finished size. EQ is very confusing that way.
