And if we do more than 1 set, it doesn't matter much if we get a duplicate block - they're so small, that they won't wind up next to each other anyway.
    i agree with you completely.

Love the blocks Esqmommy and Buddys Mom ! Great fabric choices. I am going in the morning to get mine , wash them and then get busy sewing  I am getting so excited !

Klue let me try another practice block of the C-1 tomorrow, when I am not so tired and cut the fabric more uniform as opposed to cutting strips as I went along  and see how it looks. To be honest I have never done the foundation before and was reading a book on my lap and trying to get it done to see how they worked :?

Just wanted to show an example of coffee and tea dying.
I made this block as a center for another project. Didn't realize until it was completed that I had put one fabric in backwards. I am sure that you will see the result of that error <g>. Anyway, I will just post the pictures so you can see how the fabric got changed.

tea - - I couldn't fine the coffee one, but it was not as bright as the first one, and not as dark as this one

thank you to KLue too!! I'm "jonesing" for more talk about DJ's. I just finished my 18 squares of one block, and I'm out to run errands, and will start the others this afternoon. Hope you all are having a great day!!

For what it's worth I like the D/L/D the best. But both are good. What I like about the D/L/D is you can see the dark square progress from the top left corner down to the bottom right corner. It ties the two blocks together. It doesn't have the same effect for me with the lights in that position.
    Just a thought.
