Here's a test of one of my blocks... not the worst, but not the best either.. it took me 1 1/2 hours to do this one 5" block... :cry: :roll

Not sure what you are unhappy about ? Looks good to me :lol:

But I understand your frustration. I cut out all the fabric for my "basic" 9 patch, started sewing them together and they were a hair under 5 :oops: ... UGH my 1/4 was off.. so off to the fabric store to rebuy the fabric , this time I cut the pieces a hair bigger and now they are at 5 1/4 so i will cut them down to the 5. :lol:

i think it looks great.

isn't it amazing how long one Jane Block takes. this is why it takes over a year to make 1 Dear Jane Quilt.

I think the other problem is that this is such a special quilt we all want our blocks to be perfect 8)

i agree completely, there's something about doing a Jane Block that changes how you do things.

Here's my block J6. I made 2 and the size wasn't right. This one is exactly 5" Yea, 1 down, 17 to go.
