I have some of the same in mine too!! Don't worry, it'll look fine to have similar/same fabrics throughout...the pieces are so tiny, it'll probably only help tie it together a little!!
I was thinking the same thing!!   they will really go together!! see great minds think alike

I see one that looks like mine too!
I never thought I would see the same fabrics with all these different people all over
Oooh dear!! I'm with you, never would've thought we'd see the same fabrics with this many people...guess we all like Joann's and online shopping. The red and cream were Joann purchases and the other 4 were online purchase.. Moda ... but now I can't remember who the designer is.. ???? but just love this stuff...
Yeah I got the cream colored print(MODA) from our fabric store here and just picked a solid green to go with, I had almost picked the green print version but liked the cream better

Well, I've done my first one... it will have to be a test block, it's not good enough to send! lol

I have a question.... I've never worked with such small pieces before, and found it rather bulky, especially round the seams (this one is done in three strips, then each strip is joined. Is there any way to reduce the bulk?

Actually, I paper pieced that one.... I'm looking at it on my desk and wondering if I should try rotary cutting and piecing it. Hmmmm.......

*wonders if i really need to sleep tonight*

i think the block looks great and i love the fabric.

i would just paper piece the flying geese units and then rotary cut all the solid squares then put the block together.

That's a much better idea.... thank you! :-)

Now, according to my eyelids, sleep IS necessary, so I'm off to bed. I shall have another go tomorrow.

Thanks for the software link Klue...got it ordered now :D . I have a wonderful Moda collection of Fats the I think I'll just use some of them on my blocks...so mine will vary in the fabric, but I think will still be fun.

Blue...I think your block looks great!
