BC - I've seen a lot of talk about pressing seams open to reduce bulk instead of pressing them to the side. I think your block looks great though. They are very difficult to piece...

Oh my gosh Ducky, neither have I.
This summmer has flown by. Maybe this week-end. I have washed and pressed my fabric and I have the patterns ready to go.

I haven't started yet either. I'm finishing up my blocks for the Blue & Yellow swap, and waiting for the Christmas fabric I ordered for this swap to arrive!

I only did one because I have no patience and wanted to know what it would look like in these fabrics! LOL

I may lose the green and go with just red and cream, that's what's in the original pattern.

And yes, that one IS just a practice, one of the seams is quite out of line.

LOL
That one block will be it for a wee while... I've gotta get my blue and yellows finished by the end of August, which means next week. And we're about to go away for the weekend (it's midday Friday here at the moment).
So next week will be a wee bit panicky! LOL

The finished Dear Jane blocks are to be 5". Is anyone's blocks smaller than this. I am paper piecing and I've made 2 and both are smaller than 5".

the Jane Blocks Finished are 4.5 inches and unfinished they should be 5.0 inches.

the blocks you would mail in should measure 5.0 inches.
