Tonight I finished my pincushions and needlecases yeay! Wanted to have them done. With this busy month and two under 4 I have my work cut out! There are tons of wild turkeys here. They fly similar to Peacocks from what I have seen. They have big "jumps" into a tree or away from danger. They will peck at people and love to attack screen doors. Makes me think of the cartoon movie free birds. It's cute and all about how wild turkeys turned into dumb domesticated birds.

On the other side of the golf course, i heard there's a bunch of wild turkeys, (the bird, not the drink, but then again it is the golf course!) do the wild ones fly??? How did they get there. Do you think one or two of the farmers gotout and flew over here, about 1/2 mile. Or maybe they walked over? I don't know. Can those big birds get off the ground. So the ones in the stores are only about 10months/14 lbs? We don't have wild life, like wolves around here. Pit bulls yesh, but they are mostly on chains.
Mary, are you getting new chickens? What in the world do those turkeys eat to gain so much weight in only a few months.
chocolate ....!!!

Tomorrows the big day. We get our names. I hope I get mine early, I want to ship as quickly as I can so my partner can get it b4 the chrismtas rush. I hope she'll like it. What if she doesn't. always worry about that. Maybe they are expecting something else. I just have to hope for the best.

Anyone know what January's theme is???? Maybe snow or snowmen or something like that. Ah!! the sunny beach!

I went to the dentist today and had a cleaning and four fillings. I hate going to the dentist, DD makes me go. Has anyone ever had a dental implant? I have a missing back tooth and he wants to do an implant? Sounds scary to me.
Lynnie I can't tell you about farm animals, but I have a seagull that flies on my deck and looks in the kitchen window. He keeps making a putt putt sound until I notice him/her. Lobsters migrate to deeper water as it gets colder. My DD took her boat up on the bank today because where she fishes inshore, the lobsters have already moved out and off to deeper water. Big female lobsters are mean. If there is a large offshore female lobster caught in your trap, you can forget about anything else being in there. She will kill the other smaller lobsters. Well guess I'll go get a cup of tea and a yummy mincemeat square. I can't wait to see who's name I will be getting. Lynnie did we see a picture of your last months pc?

We have lost a lot of chickens to coyotes. For awhile we had brown hawks who were enjoying our chickens. They seemed to have moved on now. Our chickens go in the barn at night. I love having chickens roam around our yard.

Dwina, 4 cavities??? I have no wisdom teeth, had them and 4 others pulled out for my braces. I don't trust dentists, they see you have insurance and next thing you know lets drill away.

Good animal information. Love learning new facts and stuff.
can't wait for the opening of the Christmas ornaments, I'll be there watching to see what everyone gets.

My pc was a pear in fall colors. it was posted very early. this month....not telling till it's opened. I DO NOT have a camera, so hopefully, my partner does.
Tomorrow if we're lucky, we get our partners.
good night all.

Hi everyone!!! I'm finally back from Ohio. I had a nice trip visiting family and especially Pat, but it is good to be home. I just sent out names so if anyone has a problem, please let me know!

Dwina, I wouldn't do an implant if it is just one back tooth. Implants are expensive. I had a back tooth extracted a couple years ago and I don't even miss it.
