i have a request to make if that's ok...
i forgot to ask earlier on...
would you mind if i ask you to send me a postcard from where you live.

I have a collection of postcards, cards etc from previous swaps, and have also collected all sorts of things including envelopes, notes, letters about the 'swapper' & stamps from abroad. I take a photo of the blocks etc and paste these into the scrap book also.
i think it's lovely way of getting to know the person you're swapping with, and also a reminder of where the block came from. (also for future generations, as i think each quilt has a story and a future history!)

thanks 'sew' much, i would looooove and appreciate it!
love jacquie xxxx

I was checked by the doctor. He is the one who wanted me to go to the hospital. I smoked to many years and have COPD. I now am recovering from bronchial pneumonia. Have been on anti-biotics.

Oh, Betty ..... I was wondering why we haven't heard from you in awhile .... you know it went through my mind a couple of times, that there might be something wrong. "Been There - Done That" with the Bronchial Pneumonia bit, many years ago when I was still working. Spent at least 3 months with absolutely "no energy" .... felt like I walking around with 500 pounds on my chest .... didn't seem to get rid of it (or notice I started getting rid of it) until the warm weather kicked in, like May and June (and this was in California). It is BAD stuff and especially with you having COPD. I have never smoked, don't have breathing problems and do not want them either. You take care gal .... your in my prayers. (((HUG))) -- Dayle

I hope you feel better very soon. Bronchitis is no fun, have had my share. You will be getting a package shortly, hope it lifts your spirits
