it's very humbling to have been a part of piecing together something that honours a part of history that is very close to all your countries hearts.
i have loved every minute of it.

just like in real life, always awake before the alarm goes off, well here I am early. But I have even more wonderful new-->>-->>-->>-->>-->>. MY QUILT IS HOME!!!!!!!!!!!
I went out this afternoon do pick up a few things I forgot at the grocery store, when I came back my neighbors son came out and asked if I wanted help with the bags. He also had a box that the postman left with his mom on saturday. Joan, you are absolutely correct, the pictures are great but not as good as seeing it in person.
Ladies you have all outdone yourselves. It is wonderful, I am sew excited to finish it. I promise to work on it monday and tuesday and I will post picutres as I go.
I have orientation for my new job on monday from 8 - 4:30, but by 5pm I will be in My Favorite Quilt Shop looking for just the right finishing touches. I will try to remember to take the camera along to the shop for pics of work in progress.
To each and everyone of you, Thank You for being a part of this wonderful journey. I am so happy when I opened the top it brought tears to my eyes. My granny would be so proud. We did a fantastic job, again Thank You.

I'm so happy for you!!! I was going to send you a note tonight to tell you that it should have arrived, but was planning to double check the information from the PO first.
Now I know it's home with you and I don't have to worry about it any more.
