Elisabrat's Summer Fun! Table Runner/Table Mat Swap SIGN UPS CLOSE MAY 5th

I am finishing up labels and the binding on the double wedding ring quilt. Had so many other things to get done this last weekend on the longarm that I put the binding aside for work since boss is gone and I am caught up. I can live with this. So proud of you teriann that you are still sticking to your guns and not letting the issue at hand deter you from your task. Be sure to not overdo. i am more concerned for your eye sight than a table runner. I will be glad to wait.
May I mail both my runners out tomorrow to my partners? Are you two ok with that? I just want to be sure I don't forget them since they are done (almost) and waiting.

Today is my last day of anniversary vacation. DH is back at work and I am trying to "bless" this messy home. Got the groceries put away. Dishwasher is running. Laundry is going. Was going to vacuum the pool, but it has come up a thunderstorm. Still need to tidy the bathrooms and living room. Where is my magical wand when I need it?

I went into the posts this morning intending to post but got to reading and left without an update. I'm blaming it on old age. I FINALLY started sewing one of the patterns I decided on then decided against then decided on. Anyway got the top ALMOST finished. Now I'm deciding what color to border it with. Have to make a decision quick. Time's almost up.

Ah darn...busted! Well, at least I know who to look out for! If you don't like the heat, you are moving in the right direction. We left California 7 years ago to retire in Montana....we don't have or need AC. I don't miss the triple digit weather a bit!

QMomma, I'm fine with you sending mine out. That's exciting. I have been working on yours a bit everyday. Need to sew on binding and weave the ends in. Sure it will take me a bit to do the handsewing but getting there :-) Still can't see out of the ole eye but it's not swollen and sore anymore. A step in the right direction.

Okay I need some help here...I started making the "middle" of my runner...and now I am 2nd guessing myself...my swap partner posted a pic of some color schemes on this thread for me to choose from, so I thought I would reciprocate. The 1st pic has the start of the middle of the runner in it, the other 2 are also fabric combos that I think she described she would like..she mentioned liking "swirly, circly fabrics and blues, greens, purples...only thing shes not fond of is bright neon colors. So, babyfireo4, let me know, and anyone else who wants to chime in, have at it!!
Thanks!
Kif

The center (and colors) in that first pick are just lovely! I adore the colors in the third picture to, all those watery blues and purples, I may be in heaven!!! To be honest either combo is perfect

Kiffie, Just tossing my 2 cents in but I think she would like pic 3 best because it has the green fabric in it plus the swirly ones. Just MHO. On another note, I received my package from MamaHauser today and Oh...lucky me! Not only did she make me a gorgeous table runner but a wall hanging to match. Reminds me of cool summer and pretty flowers. I love it! Now I can take down my bargello WH that hubby says makes him dizzy (LOL) and hang up the pretty one from Kelly. Thanks Kelly ever so much and thank you Linda for hosting. Hope all the latecomers pop in and say they are getting things done.

Started FMQ my runner today. This is my first real fmq'd project. I really like how it started, and then.....well,l spent an hour tearing out the next part. It looked great in my mind! Oh well, it's just time and I have learned a valuable lesson. Oh Dabbler I hope you like it!
I'm sure I will love whatever you make - I still haven't got the hang of fmq so I stay in the ditch - so far it's worked out okay for me. Finishing up project from another swap for jaba and will get sewing on yours; no worries on time - I'll get there.
