I've got 1 set done and the other is cut out and ready to sew. I had these oriental fabrics in the fall colors and thought they might be something a little different to add to the other blocks.

Anna I took a look at the pattern and it stated that it could be considered a star block so I will allow it to be used, can't wait to see the fabrics you use with it.

Not even close to starting. I still have to finish two baby blankets first, even put my Block of the Week on hold until I can finish them. The double baby shower is this week! Eeek!

Went to the fabric store yesterday for some cream colored fabric and bunch of money later I come out with black fabric, cream fabric, two jelly rolls, several fat quarters and some new thread. I can never go in for just one thing.

Yeah, I finished up some UFOs and a store sample I did for them. Took them in and came out with about 30 yards of fabric. Did not know they were going to give me 45% discount for doing a store sample. I was glad to do it. They insisted so I partook of the blessing. Now to get busy and sew sew sew.

Thank you, I just hope everyone can use them. Lucky lady QM, love it when that happens and saves lots of $. Went ahead and kept sewing so my blocks are ready to send in when I get the go ahead. Will show now so all of you will know what I'm sending in to be swapped.
