Same for me: pretty blocks for spring! I have enjoyed trying out several new applique stitches on my Viking Sapphire. I believe I'll put it all together and look for a way to get it to someone who had to endure the terrible storms last week while I sewed to my heart's content. Perhaps the Red Cross has an address...or there's a guild out there with such a project????

Bittersweet Quilts, Joplin, MO or Block By Block, Carthage, MO are collecting quilts for the tornado survivors. If you would like I can forward the email to you or anyone that is interested in helping. I guess I could post it somewhere on here also.

Here are my fall blocks color testing, The first picture was the first one, but I thought it had to much pumpkin color, so I looked at some other fabrics and # 2 pic is the one I am going to use on a light cream muslin. The leaves are sage green and cut out all 48 leaves in 8 minutes with my studio accuquilt, complete with fusible web.
The 3rd picture is my littlest one "Bentley" he lays on the table while I quilt. I know SPOILED.
Cathy is in the background with our grandaughter and Angus the cat.

The colors are much more bright than shown, Bad pic

Bentley is soooo cute. I like both blocks, nothing wrong with either one.

I love how you do your leaves.... I must see if I can borrow someone's Accuquilt, as I am not looking forward to cutting out all those leaves again!

Gotta love Bentley! What a great quilting mascot you have!

Don't worry, you are not behind, mine are all cut out, sewed and waiting to be appliqued except I still have the leaves to cut out. Working on it though.
