I get the 12 x 12 "scrapbooking" paper boxes from Michaels. I put them in there. I try to keep themes together like for the 10-1/2" I had my purple swap together, my brown swap together, etc. When I went through my purples to cut for a brick style quilt, I took out the batiks to put with my batik pile (always pull them out) then I pulled out the Halloween cats and put with my holiday sets. As for the 6-1/2" sets, I can fit 2 sets in 1 container. I do them by swap theme. Like I have I-Spy, mom's, dads, etc. I just went through a bunch of them and pulled out a gallon bag full to send to a friend of mine that makes quilts for babies in need. She was SO excited!!! As I go through the I-spys if I recognize one that I've gotten before, I try to find it to pair them up. I keep all of my duplicates together that I can. Until I can get them organized, I put them in a big tote stacked up. Now, the farm one...those I'll be putting in a quilt right away this time!!!

I can't wait to put mine together in a quilt also, I am going to use it as my throw for my chair, my husband likes it to snow inside, I am always freezing.

I have several of those square storage bins with lids that Joanns usually has at the holidays, I usually wait for them to go on 50% off. They are great for all sizes of squares and they stack well. Also easy to take them with you if you are going to do a scrappy project.

Mine went out in the mail last week you should be getting them soon.

I have a bin for every size block and the ones that are the fullest are the little ones. The big ones get use up. No matter how hard I try to stay on top of scraps I have many many bins of just scraps. At one time I was all caught up! well I thought I was... Could have had a bin full of scraps on the bottom and pieces of fabric on top, what a surprise when I went digging in that bin!

I am going to try to catalog all my fabric, going to sell a lot of it and donate a lot. Making room for more !!!! My Daughter and Grand Daughter went home yesterday and now I can get back to sewing again! I have a prom Dress almost finished and several quilts in various stages! Ugh I need a Secretary, any volunteers? Secretaries day is just around the corner!!!!!

LOL I'll be your secretary and will work for fabric!!! I just helped a lady I met on Craigslist go through her stuff and help her set prices so should won't give it all away.

I've not been quilting long enough to have bins of scraps, some day, I hope!

I won't be updating the rest of this week or weekend. My grandfather passed away early this morning, so I won't be going through the mail for a few days. I will update the list next week.
