Okay, can someone please tell me how four identical sashing strips when cut can become three identical and one wonky sashing strip when sewn on to the row? I am quite pleased with the rest of the row, but this one sashing strip...is giving me headaches. If it were my own quilt I'd just leave it but seeing as how it's not...

*goes to un-attach and re-sew said sashing strip for the second time...*

Okay...*wipes brow* I took it apart and re-did all the sashing...so hopefully this time it lines up and doesn't look to wonky-doodle...

Anyway, it's done and ready to be sent on to LoriJ. I won't send it until you tell me you're ready for it. Since it's my fault you're getting April's row so late, just let me know when you're ready for this one!

Margie, I hope you like it!

MrsJ82 Very nice job!!!! I like it. I am so sorry you had trouble with the sashing :(. I thught I cut it all the same, maybe it got"wonky" from just sitting not sewn??? I dont know fabrics seem to take on a life of their own lol. Looks like you did a great job of fixing it!

I have my row almost finished. I have to square it all up an sew it on. I hope to photograph it and have it in the mail tomorrow....needless to say insured and with tracking numbers.

TYVM for your hard work...it is lovely.

Margie, it was the red sashing of mine that was being wonky. the green one that you included went on beautifully. I just had to fix the red sashing strips because I cut four identical ones, and then the last one to go one ended up so tiny! lol But I fixed it last night (after taking it all apart!) and now it looks almost wonderful.

I'm so glad you like the row! :-)

Mary here is your row. I hope you like it...you asked for stars so I tried to give them to you lol. Even the embroidered ones are star theme.
