I have silks and batiks from China, and traditional fabrics from Liberia and Guatemala. None of them feel like quilting fabrics-would these be acceptable? Marne

Mame, I don't know if they are acceptable for this swap, but I would say yes. I have made several silk quilts and other things using all types of fabric.
You should probably check with the person in charge though.

OMGOSH! I would be happy with that kind of fabric! To me that's a once and a life time thing.... You can make a wall hanging or something else with it. I don't see why you have to make a quilt with it. It just says FQ, It doesn't say we have to make quilts with them... If Carsey say no, you can always send them to me to swap personally?

I would also love to get fabric like that! I've been collecting brocades/taffeta/satins/etc for years to make something with in the future.
