I started my two colors in purple. Playing with 4.5" x 2.5" Flying geese and friendship star. I went back to buy more of this fabric and it was of course, all gone.
Today I spotted the Red Shouldered hawks return to our pond. They perched on sunny branches all afternoon picking and choosing different branches for better advantage of finding a snack.

Here is the beginning of my purple. I was drawn to these colors as they remind me of the colors my DGM wore all the time, mostly the darker of two. Call me sentimental.

Will be watching to see all the wonderful Table Runners being created this time, but will be sitting out as we're traveling to see a grandson celebrating his 5th birthday the end of March. It will be fun (and warm).

I have to withdraw from this swap ( just this time!) as I haven’t been able to spend much time sitting at the machine. Heading out to get a new body part this weekend (hip) but I’m excited to see what everyone makes!
