Maxie the runner you made is beautiful and Queenbarbie that Quilt is fabulous too. love the colours. I'm looking fwd to starting an Anzac quilt. The fabric was all given to me by my quilting friend Glenys for my birthday. I 'm sorry I wont have it finished by Anzac day April 25, but I'll have it started.

Armylady2012 that is one stunning table runner. We knew it would be special when you posted the fabrics. I like what you did with it. How long did it turn out to be?

Jessca, beautiful quilt. I love purple. Any shade of it. Your quilt in those colors remind me of an amish quilt. Very nice. Maxie, your runner turned out great.Lucky Caroline. What else is being worked on??

I got mine!! Thank you Northern Sue I just love it. Beautiful colors. Beautiful quilting. Beautiful pattern. The Mariners Compass is such a striking block and you did a fabulous job. I can see how this brought brightness to you during the last cold months of winter. Now it is bringing me happiness. Sue also sent a lovely card and some fabric scraps which I will definitely make use of .

Armylady and Northern Sue made very pretty runners. Stars and stripes is a success.

Sue, the yellow makes the runner so vivid! I think a lot of times we tend to shy away from such bright colors, but with results like that we should embrace the bold LOL! As a matter of fact the next quilt I am working on will be featuring yellow/gold. Was inspired by a sunflower print I am going to use for the backing.

So many terrific runners this time. I agree ube that the stars and stripes theme was a success.

Ube, it's called Cross and Crown. I auditioned a few color combinations, several with lighter backgrounds, but I liked this one the best. Probably because it has such a clear contrast. I think I struggle with that sometimes. I tend to be really matchy matchy so often the fabrics I choose are too similar in color values.
