Thanks, Chasezzz...yes I've seen Geta's stunning work...

I make donation small quilts for the Grands upcoming school fundraiser and often use Valentine's themes..May make a second one like Nelco's but different fabrics...not sure if I have enough of the candy hearts left. I usually make one for each grand and there are 3 in school...better get busy...

I am posting for dabbler312. Dabbler is still busy, busy, busy with many obligations and I appreciate all the community work she does. I have plenty of time to do this small task so here is the mini dabbler received.

Ube what a great quilt! But now you need to tell us more about the photo! How big is the wall hanging and the gramma? Is that a mini quilting book? More info please, lol. The little monagrammed piece was a nice extra!

Let me introduce you to Ruth, my alter ego. I put these little dioramas together to display the mini quilts I make. The book is real and filled with quotes about quilting and photos of antique quilts.

Ruth is 12"tall and usually sits in a wall alcove with a quilt on her lap. When I remember, I set her up for photo shoots of my finished mini quilts.

The quilt is 12.5" sq. and paper pieced. I use graft paper to create the size blocks I want and then photo copy them.

Glad you enjoy it.

Oh another winner...this is such a talented group of mini makers. I think Ruth is very special. My mother was Ruth. I had a dear elderly friend who was also Ruth and a tremendous quilter. She made quilts the old fashioned way before rotary cutters etc. I miss them both.

Chasezzz, this reminds me of the old toy which I can't remember the name, spiral.....? where you put the gears in a tray and use colored pens to draw geometric patterns. Today we would cal it a mandala, very nice.

Lena 1952, imagine a whole quilt in this pretty pattern, wow!
