    I have a treadle that needs to come in the house and let me look her over. I know the treadle works but not sure of the rest.

    I always wanted to be a twin and I do have a set of twin boys.

    Suzanne isn't twinkie's treadle beautiful? Mine is so far from being a beauty. She's kinda an ugly duckling ,but I'm working on making her a beautiful swan.I read on here all the time how people have treadles and haen't used them.My feet and hands itch for wanting to treadle.Mary

    Yes, it is a Singer 1903 Pheasant decal Model 27. It has a 6 drawer oak cabinet with lotus blossom flower carvings. I love it and it works perfectly. I don't use it as often as I should but love it when I get a chance to. Mary, keep working on yours and it will become a beautiful swan. My DH worked on mine until it was what we wanted. Thank you for the kind words.

    Mary, you are so right. I personally would not buy a new machine. The last time I did buy one was my embroidery machine about 3 to 4 years ago. My DH and I collect these antique and vintage beauties and have been blessed by this. That is why I am still working long after I should have retired. To support his good habit. LOL
