I have finally started on my runner. Not thrilled with it yet, but I do have a plan B in case I'm not happy with it when it's done.

Thanks for the vote of confidence lawsonmugs What I thought looked like enough contrast between fabrics looks less so now that I am well into it. This does happen to me from time to time...ugh! At least it's only a runner...lol.

ekuw, you can always change styles and applique on it. But I have always liked what you have done.

    Hi Guys,

I think I have you all who have said they are in, but could Onebyone and Annaquilts please let me know if they are in... you have both commented but not said whether you are in or not... no pressure, just a bit of housekeeping on my part.

    Hugs

    Caroline

I’ve sat out for quite a few cycles (preoccupied with getting my DD settled in Arizona). I am very tempted to jump in this time. I’d love either Autumn or Winter tablerunner. I’ve got some fun winter fabric (Snowberry by Kathy Engle for Island Batik). Hmmmmm ........

Well I made such a mess up on my runner. So I am making another really quick I hope. The first one has applique and some how I sewed it where there is a pleat along the edge where the binding goes. I'm not taking all that stitching out. I just snipped the pleat and I'm going to maybe quilt over it. i really like it so I'll just use it myself. Good thing we have a few weeks left. lol. Life's too short to sweat the small stuff.

I'm in the home stretch on my runner. Just need to do a little bit more quilting and then bind. I did end up making a second runner. The first was turned out fine, but didn't seem "fall" enough for me.

Hi everyone. I haven't been around much but watching the action when I can. My runner is ready to mail and it is an icy blue winter theme.
