With that being said..... I completely agree with MaryMo. Newbie or first time being late wait a day or two. More than two times late... return the package.

Thanks for the positive feedback, ladies.

I'll wait until I receive it Saturday and then try to make it to the Post Office Monday.

Hang in there, charms are always worth it with these folks swapping!
Hugs
Chris

Hi ladies,

I received the last package today, and will begin to redistribute tomorrow morning.

I went out and watered my flowers tonight, we won't have to water these beauties, though!

Mercy! What a cluster this month was. Padded envelopes not showing, late packages, packages ripped open upon receipt (but there were 12 in there along with their payment, so ...whew. All's well), a package with no return postage, putting clear tape over stamps and finding out the post office will not accept those as paid... all KINDS of things this month. I think the sun and moon that aligned making all those things happen at the same time can move 'er along now

But! They are all in the mail now, floating their way to your sewing studios ready to make pretty items for all to enjoy!

Just so everyone knows, since the padded envelopes didn't make it (and Walmart didn't have anything big enough for me to buy and use), they are in the standard cardboard type envelopes with packing tape all the way around it to hold it together. The post master assured me this would be fine. Let's cross our fingers, shall we?

A few notes:

Macy Baby: you WAY overpaid me for postage, so you are getting some of that back. You also sent in 13 charm sets, and we limit those to 12, so you are going to see one of yours coming back.

Janet Brown and Dsenters: same with you regarding the 13 charm sets. We limit to 12, so both of you will receive one of your own back along with your 12 swapping ones.

Hav4: thank you for the extra postage for last month's mix up. Was totally not expecting it, but thank you!

I'm going to start feedback, so please let me know if you don't receive from me.

Oh...one more thing:

Any suggestions for next month?

this is my first swap here, so I've a lot to learn.

I sent extras (postage and charms) hoping they could be put to use as needed, I wasn't expecting anything back because of that.

Looking forward to getting my swap charms. No suggestions for the next one, I'll wait and see what gets picked and then see if I've got it in my stash.

I am in the process of making an I-Spy quilt, but I hesitate to do an exchange here, since someone else on the board does a quarterly I-Spy swap. I don't want to step on anyone's toes??

I thought about not having a theme and just doing "whatever floats your boat", but am open to ideas.

I know someone posted white on black and black on white a while back, as well as holiday theme prints (Easter, Christmas, Thanksgiving, etc). Someone emailed with "stripes" as well as "start the color choices over".

I'll wait a bit and see who else might chime in with words of wisdom
