Teen, did you pad the top of your chest heavily or lightly? Nice use of leftover fabrics. I have two chests handmade by hubby. Both have lids. They're very simple and I think that's what makes them so special.

Linny....I have 5 layers of batting for pad. When this covers wears out and needs replacement, I may do it more cushiony... Yes, these are simple to repurpose and I love anything homemade...lol...
My package is mailed and on its way! Expected delivery is Monday!!
guess what? We received the final for occupancy today. I start moving in this weekend. So excited! They have to finish a couple of aesthetic things but we are good to go. I will take a picture and share...
