This wall hanging is so pretty, brings back child hood memories of the swing hanging from my grandpa's tree.

Ube, your display wall is so attractive. Queenbarbiej’s WH looks quite handsome there.....love all the colors in it.

Your handmade poppies are so special. Grateful to all who will receive them.

Ube, I love your Vet pins. They are so cute. You also have a cute display of all your wall hangings, love it. All the new Whings are looking really great. We are a great bunch of quilters.

Annaquilts, I am like everyone else. Would love to know your technique for the special floss decoration.

Queenbarbiej, neat floss application on your WH. Thanks for the explanation of how it’s done.

your Veteran's day must be our Rememberance day 11th day of the 11th month , one minutes silence at 11 oclock. We sell usually for a gold coin little fabric poppies to wear. These days people are making them and putting them in groups around King Park which over looks the city of Perth

That sounds really lovely, R-Sea. My favorite day is Vet day. When I was counseling vets before I moved, I would gift them with something I made. In my opinion, we can't do enough for veterans and active servicemen/women to honor them. One of the reasons why I do so many QOV.

Ladies....I don't want to deluge you guys with a bunch of house pictures but I need to, at least, share my laundry room with you. This is my favorite room in the house...partly because it's the one room my hubbie said " do what you want" ( but he basically said that thru the whole house)..but regardless, I've never had a laundry room before so I went a bit girlie....and my fav color, of course....lol.. I think I'm going to sit in this room all day. Lol.. (The door leads to our sunroom...and the floor is stone tiles.....looks like applique, huh?)

Oh wow! Love your laundry room! Don't blame you for wanting to sit in it all day! (Of course, you would have to have room for your sewing machine...!)

I love your new laundry room, Teen, and the tile is gorgeous! I bet you'll spend lots of time in your new sunroom too.
Congrats on getting moved in to your new house. It has to feel so good. I'm almost finished with Little Pillow #1 and will post a picture soon. It was such fun making it.
