I know what I want to do. Just need to sit down and do it. All my summer activities have wound down and my co-worker is not back 100% so I don't have to pick up her travel. The middle of July and most of August was a really busy time for me with family vacations and work travel.

JNCT, You have had a very busy summer and it can be a lot of pressure. Don't sweat the WHS. It is always wonderful to have you in the swap but if you can't that is okay too but I will be very sad. No pressure, huh?
peace

It is a beautiful September morning here in PA. Warm and cool at the same time. A sweatshirt morning with a soft cool breeze. A sit in the sun kind of morning.

Enjoy these next few days. Hermine is on its way. Stay safe.

It is cool in MN too, right now it is only 75 degrees. It was fairly crisp out this morning, I almost went back into the house and grabbed a sweater. I have a feeling it is going to be an early winter. Everything I have hear and read says we are in for a good one this year.

I hate winter but I hope we get snow. Its been so dry! Anoka I looked at Pinterest and you were right - lots of ideas. As soon as I can get my derned quilt done, I can figure something out.

Every once in a great while DH, and I go out to breakfast at a great little place that is at a small airport. It is fun to watch the small planes come and go.

That is hurricane Hermine in the background.

Here is a field of sunflowers down the road from the airport

The beginning of a Steven King novel, maybe? Haha

Hi every one. There is so much action this summer I can hardly keep up!

Well I had to take my Bernina back to to the shop to repair the repair. The mechanic had replaced my worn out zig zag and stitch length buttons. The first time I tried the zig zag the button fell off in my hand. They will repair it at no charge. The funniest thing is when I was at the counter signing it in, I was describing what happened to a nice counter person and another counter person came up and with an accusing voice.....

"Did you bump it? They are very sensitive and you have to be careful with them." She quickly turned and walked away. I was shocked. I wanted to say I deliberately broke it so I could have a reason to drive thirty miles just to visit your smiling face. But I was good and only said that I owned the machine for 20 yrs and think I know how to use it.

I did tell the other counter person that it was really rude to be talked to as though I was being deceitful, trying to get something for nothing. Sometimes it is not the customers fault or any ones fault, things just happen.

I had just willingly turned $380.00 to them two weeks ago with a smile on my face and a thank you.

I am so saddened by the state of mind people have these days. No one seems to have any kindness left in them. I'm going to take a bag of snickers with me when I pick the machine up and thank them for all they do.

I feel better now, Thanks
