Ronda, the first one was singing, but it was complicated and messy ... and if I finished it you wouldn't get it until December. Maybe!!! I sure hope this one turns out the way I am hoping it will. Fingers crossed!

Finished urgodschild's quilt waiting for address to mail it to her. I tried a fancier quilt technique on it using a red white blue varigated thread. I am not your best "ripper" so there are a couple of crossed lines but overall the effect is terrific if I don't say so myself. Will send a pm when in mail. Whew, another UFO done and it actually had a home. Now to find one for next month. I do not remember what next months theme is.

Well here lately I have been having TONS of problems with
my doll quilts. I get an idea and start working on it get about
1/2 to 3/4 finished and step back to look at it and think "what
the heck was I thinking that is totally horrible" so I scrap that
and start again.
Poor QuiltyMom had to wait until the end of June to get her
MAY dq, because of the problems I had with liking what I had
made.
Again poor JuanitaBean's JUNE dq just went in the mail today
because again I didn't like what I had done and started over
several times.
I am now trying to BUST MY TUSH to NOT be so late with my July
dq for IrelandDragonQuilter. I have already got part of hers finished
but it's not done yet.
I am thinking about taking a month or two off from making the DQ's
to "regroup" my brain and to get some other projects completed.
I have an order for 2 embroidery panels, one of the pink cockatoo
(like what I made last month for a mug rug swap on another site),
the other panel is for an umbrella cockatoo. The pink cockatoo is
going to be a 12x18 pillow and the umbrella cockatoo is going to be
made into a bag of some sort.
PLUS one of the guys I work with (on my Friday job) is VP of the local
bird rescue organization so he sets up booths at local conventions and
has asked me to make a few things like mug rugs, small wall hangings,
earrings and such items to see how well they sell for him at these events.
Next event is in the Fall so I need to get busy with that.

The theme is solids/Amish like. Or whatever you want to do.
