I live 45 minutes from this Bayside quilting shop and have seen many of their samples and they turn out great. I really don't know why you would need templates and rulers for it, but I guess that is just me. Have fun making them.

I was wondering the same thing! But the video is the first time i truly understood how to connect the seperate blocks in a QAYG.

Really lovely and inspiring patriotic DQs this month!

And you can use either the quilt as you go method or just quilt the square to the edge of the 12 " top piece.
Please, someone, tell me I am right?
Skaduzy - you have it right. For Krystyna's blocks you would quilt your square but not roll and finish the back. She will do that when she puts it together with the others she receives.

Almost done with mine. Lots of problems every step of the way. I should have stayed with my original idea ... thought this would be easier. Ha! We had lots of rain and SURPRISE! Borders seem to stretch in the rain. Even after you've sewn them on. ARRRGGGHHHH

I am back...a word I hate to use these days! Lol I have had the third epi in my back and was down since Tuesday. Yesterday I said the heck with it and went to an embellishment presentation.a three hour infomercial ending with a $2000 price tag. Thank you ever so, NO! Then I spent time finding my quilting room. There was so much stuff, but i was confident it was there somewhere! I was right. I'm a little behind(actually I have a lot of behind, but that's a different rant, lol). The first dq has been a complete disappointment, so am starting fresh! My idea just didn't work. Pout! So, long story short (oops! Too late for that!) I am plugging along but no end in sight!
Psycho... I'm pretty sure your partner is going to love it!!
