    Dear IslandDragonQuilting:

I'm so sorry to hear of your news about your Dad. My husband and I have been married 52 years (on August 20) and I can't imagine my life without him. I am praying for you and your family...
    Kindly,
    JoAnn

Louise - so sorry about your Dad - its hard to lose parents. I lost my Dad when I was 15 but was blessed that my Mom lived to 85. Take good care of yourself - prayers coming your way. Heather G.

OK I am asking for feedback on these, they are done out of felt. The Mushrooms were a free online pattern found here,
    http://thelittlehousebythesea.wordpr...-and-tutorial/

The camper, I drew out using some various online designs as inspiration for it, but I wanted a door that opened and could be used to hold needles.

The round flowery one I drew that one out too, using others designs as inspiration. What do you think?? Hope it is OK posting these here, but I knew if anyone would give me honest feedback it would be in the pincushion swap!

Size: 63.4 KB I know the trailer looks like it was rear ended LOL but I think it is because I didn't make the wheel cover for it large enough.

Thank you so much for your kind words everyone! I have become a pin cushion making addict! I just cannot seem to stop. I will definitely take notes of names I am just glad everyone likes them. OK back to the grindstone of homework. I don't know if I am going to make it through, after being out for over 23 years LOL

All of those pin cushions are so cute. Normally I wouldn't know which is my favorite, but my in laws always came to see us in their travel motor home until they passed so that little camper you made is so special.

Just a quick note to say "THANK YOU" to everyone for your
    thoughts and prayers.

My dad passed this morning at 8:00 he is finally at peace and
where he wants to be "with his Annie".

Quilty-HUGS to all of you kind, wonderful friends.

Did my little July summer themed ones today and have to say I think they turned out pretty cute. Signed up for 1 pin cushion and 1 needlecase but made them both for my partners again. Sure hope they like them, now need to make one for myself.

Hello guys!! Sorry to have been MIA this week end. THe last week of the month is always crazy at work. This week is going to be better. I start training at Michael's tomorrow night. Not sure what the schedule will be until then. The church is still accepting resumes until Sunday. Then they will start interviewing.

Yesterday since I was in the area, I did the JoAnn's run. Got material for my summer theme needlecase and watermelon pincushion. Now to get started.

I will start swapping names tonight at 6pm CST.

Louise my heart breaks for you. You are in my prayers. It is never easy to lose a loved one. Hugs.

Thank you everyone for the heart felt notes of sympathy.

Today I had to go to the Mortuary to make arrangements,
tomorrow I meet with my dads church to get the memorial
service organized (hopefully for Wednesday, if not than on Friday).

Went through all my pictures looking for the best pictures to
make a collage, sent it (online) to Walgreen's photo and had
a poster board made with all the photos.

I need to write a eulogy for the speaker from dads church, plus
to try and find the printed poem that my dad wrote and had published
    about 20 years ago.

I am really going to miss not swapping with you this month.

    Quilty-HUGS to you all.

    Louise

Thought I would share one of the most FITTING photos I have
of my parents. I am calling it "Together Again". Maybe it is only
my eyes that can see it, but this picture SCREAMS "I love you"

All of the needlecase partners are swapped out. I am waiting on a few forms for pincushions. As soon as they arrive, I will swap them. Have fun!!!

Tracey I don't have my name. If you didn't get me listed don't fret about it. I sent PM for 1 of each but if you have 2 pin cushions I could do that easy already have them made.

louise, that picture tells everyone who looks at it that they love each other.
so sorry for your loss, but they are together again, and I think that's what they want.
