Hi Guys,
I received the most beautiful runner from Linny today. I will photograph it and post a picture tomorrow... out until late today. She also sent some fat quarters which will most certainly be used!
Linny, thank you so very much.
Hugs
Caroline

I was away from home waiting for my partners name and when it was m-fay , I thought what am I sending Anzac biscuits and explaining all about them to her for but I had nothing else to put in her bag on me . I'm still not home so m-fay will have to let you know . Anzac stands for Australian New Zealand Army Corps and these biscuits were made by mothers to send to the boys fighting in the wars

Here's the recipe r-sea sent me. (The recipe I use is slightly different, same ingredients) half cup sugar, 1 cup flaked oatmeal(not quick cook ones), 4 oz butter,1tablespoon golden syrup,1cup coconut, 1cup plain flour, 1level teaspoon bi-carb soda, 2tablespoons boiling water. .........mix all dry ingredients together, pour in melted butter, add soda and syrup dissolved in boiling water. Mix well. Drop in small spoonfuls on trays lined with baking paper. Bake in a moderate oven for 20mins ....enjoy!

Ube you made my day with this beautiful runner. It's on the dining room table and I'm going shopping tomorrow to find the perfect center piece for it. It's truly stunning and your quilting is perfect. I love the panel you sent and will get to making something with it very soon, hoping to work in the glorgeous buttons with it also. Thank you so much, I really really love it!!
