Jaba what a beautiful runner from Ube. Love the panel and the buttons.

I will try these biscuits of history in the near future. What an interesting back story they have. I'll have to locate the golden syrup here in the USA. Not a real common thing. We mostly have corn syrup and I know it has a different flavor.

So happy you like it jaba. Your pretty wooden table sets it off nicely. I had a great time making it.
ekuw, I also want to let you know the pitcher on your runner is awesome.

Ube, you can use honey and if it was me I would use any sort of syrup. Golden syrup has been in Australia for many years so I guess that is why it was used

I just love seeing all the beautiful and different runners. There hasn't been one I don't like :-)
Ube, My Dad gave me that pitcher. One of his friends was putting it in a garage sale and he snagged it for me. He saw that the handle was a dog. Maybe a greyhound maybe a whippet. Anyhow I have a whippet (you saw her laying on the first runner I made) so he thought I would like it. I do love it...it's so unusual!

I received an awesome package from m-fay! My apologies for the delay in posting & sending thanks - have been away again helping my mom. M-fay is on the road travelling & included local items with my runner - how fun! The little Australian koala bear has already found a home on the arm of my light at the sewing machine - I think he's telling me to get to work! lol My treasures, in addition to this gorgeous runner, included clips, thread, fabric, Koala dude and a lovely note. Imagine all that in the envelope! I've tried to get it all in the pic - isn't this runner gorgeous?

I remember that pattern from one of the mystery train rides. It's so pretty. Looks like fruit slices on the corners. I love it. Very nice swap Sue. Caroline , can't get much more autumn than acorns. lol. Love your runner. Really cute with the leaves for quilting. This has really been a good swap. Of course they all have. lol

I love the table runners that have been posted, all of them are fabulous this month. I enjoy looking at mine on the dining room table everyday. My partner's was delivered about 10 days ago but haven't heard anything from her.
