Here's a trick... cut your scraps into strips and then dump them into a box or bag or something. Pull out any strip randomly, and sew together with your white strips. Ha ha!

Honestly, we will still love matchy blocks but it isn't necessary and only takes up extra time. Just sew anything with anything. It will work in the end if you are doing something like an Irish chain or the Jack's Chain we talked about earlier.

Cheesehead - I have the same problem as you! It's hard not to be too matchy
with the scraps. What's the saying about old habits being hard to break- it is way too true, but I'll try SBG's suggestion in the next set.

I like the Waverly brand of fabric at Walmart. It irons nicely into a good crisp fold.

I haven’t seen it myself, but I trust everyone to use the same quality as they would like to receive. That’s one of the rules of thumb for swaps.

I got my 9P quilt top finished today. I have enough blocks left to do one more. In this photo I have 10 rows of 10. I added 3 more after I took the pic. I'll show it again after I quilt it. I love it's happy, bright look!

I love it - so so colorful! I'm working on mine too - just need to sew the rows together and add the borders.

SBG love how your 9 patch quilt turned out and the jewel tones in the fabric!
