In the case of mine, there may be only one or two... three at the most, because I'm working from scrap strips. Wish I could build one of each for everybody.

Good evening everyone. I'm excited about this swap. I recently received 3-4 boxes worth of scraps. Over the last few days I've washed, dried and now in the process of ironing and sorting the scraps. I have at least 30 small pieces of fabric I have set aside for this swap. I still have 3/4 of the scraps to go. So far I have a pile of fabric for the Farmer's daughter quilt, fabric I want to keep for my projects, fabric for swapping for 3 swaps, and Christmas fabric. I figure it will take me a while to sort and iron. I'll post as I go along. Happy sewing everyone.

I really like what I see so far. You are all so creative with your blocks.

Irishmom- Congratulations on your son’s graduation!! Awesome!
Billi - Wow!! You are fast! You can always make more 9Ps incase SBG has another swap.

A few more 9P from me and a picture from the Vintage Trailer rally. So cute!

Cute blocks, and I love those vintage trailers. Show us more! It's wonderful that someone cared enough to keep them in such good shape. We don't see them like that in my area.

Those little trailers are almost as cute as your blocks I hope you share more of both.

I have thought about making more but in December we sold our house and moved into a rental while our "Im never moving again" house is being built. When we moved to this tiny place I had very little room for my sewing room, all but a small amount of my scraps are all currently in storage with no way for me to get to them. I could use my FQ stash and I still may do that but I need to watch commitments because once our house is done I'll have to pack up again and we will have other things to finish the house before we move in.

All of that being said I was going to ask SBG how she feels about another 9 patch swap but a themed one. I would LOVE if we did scrappy yellows and florals. I think completely scrappy with 5 florals and 4 yellows no two the same could be a lot of fun. But using only 2 different fabrics like this time is good too. That I would jump on in a heart beat.

For now I'll keep myself busy making the quilt from the last round and Boom 21 swap.

Billi, I agree that yellow and floral is a nice combination. Have you seen Bonnie Hunter's Florabunda quilt done in yellows/florals? A few years ago we had a block swap for the Jacob's Ladder block done in yellows and florals so we could make a similar quilt. The blocks were so beautiful from that swap!

Good morning, swappers... I am open to a change in the swap for next time. I was actually thinking about offering scrappy colors alternated with white. It's still so early in this swap (signups haven't even closed) that maybe we can think about it and discuss it and come to a decision before the end of this swap. For now, let's get this swap done.

Love that Floribunda quilt!
