A few more stacks of blocks finished! I haven’t been keeping track of how many I have finished. I should do that...

Those are great, Maudeflannagan.

No white on whites... just solid whites.

No minimum quantities... tho it costs you more in postage per block you swap if you do less than the max. There's still time. Keep making, if you can!

Three more packages came today...from Cheesehead, D.Henson and Sprice. I'm about to update the list.

Dang. I'm out for next time-I've no solid whites in stock. Lots of white on white, but no solid-none in any color.

My blocks will be going out this week. I've a couple to remake (size issue). First, it was my ruler was at camp, but now the fabric is at home. I will be returning home tomorrow.

I'm sorry Whigrose. We were going to take a little summer break between this and the next swap, so there's still a long time til then. Maybe you could keep an eye for some white in the meantime.

I'm not very good at math, but would we need about 1/2 yard of white to sew 100 9patches? Or maybe 5/8 yard? But I have plenty of white already. It's sort of a standard fabric for me to have in my stash. I've used it for backings. You see a lot of the 'modern' type fabric prints paired with white, so it seems to be quite popular now.

No, maybe it's 2 yards. lol I don't know! Still. 2 yards, I can get that much if I don't already have that much.

Ok, 1 3/4 yards? My calculator is groaning...

I'm glad we are going to take a summer break.I was thinking that the next swap would be right after this one and I was thinking that I wouldn't be able to do the next one. Now I'm looking forward to it!
If I read correctly, we are going to be completely scrappy except for solid white?

I came up with 1-3/4 yards, but I'm not caffeinated yet, so ...

You can cut 16 2-1/2" squares per WOF strip (based on the WOF being 42")
You need 400 white squares to make 100 blocks
400 divided by 16 = 25 strips needed
25 2-1/2" strips = 62.5 inches of fabric
62.5 divided by 36 inches per yard = 1.74 yards

I'd get 2 yards just to be on the safe side.

Somebody double check that. I'm not awake yet!
