Mizmelly, thanks for the kitty pics. I'm sorry about your poor furbaby. It's been 6 yrs since we hand to put our Maine coone down, and we still talk of him.

Mary, thanks for the pics...the little white one, is it a girl or a boy. You had a white one last year too, but he was a bull if I remember correctly .

Pat, Sammy is one beautiful boy! His color is so pretty.

Melanie all your kitties are so so sweet. They do look comfortable, and I am so happy that you and Dusty had a lot of time together.

Mary, that new little baby is so sweet. I remember a long time ago feeding baby calves with a bottle and it was fun. You have probably told before, but how many acres do you and hubby have? I think it's so nice having a place with all the different animals.

Pat your kitty is so pretty. A person just has to have a little furry member of the family around.

I have been hearing on the news of all the kids and pets that have already died being left in a hot car. So sad!

Hi All! Every day gets a little better, I sure do miss my big gray goofy cat tho!! In 13 days I can spend as much time as I want with the other 4!! Yeah!! Retiring from the full time work grind on June 30th!! And I'm going to jump in a car and head to San Diego that day!!

Now, in the meantime I will get my towels packaged up tonight and ship them out tomorrow to Linny.

Lynnie ,the new white calf is a girl. Susan, We have 65 acres and my deceased brother-in-laws 45 acres are attached and we use it also. I also have bottle fed calves . Melanie, I'm sure you just can't wait for the next 2 weeks to pass. I don't know what San Diego's temps are right now but I bet they are at least 10 degrees cooler than AZ right now. Enjoy your last few days of work.(knowing they are the last).

Hi Mary, Yep, I can't wait!! We are on 4-10's during the summer so the days are really LONG, no two ways about it. And the boss has already re-assigned most (all) of my job responsibilities to the staff so they know what to do before I'm no longer here to hold their hands.
I want to take quilt classes that were not an option previously because I work week days and most of the quilt shops hold their classes during the time I'm at work. I also want to start sewing up a storm, I want to participate in some crafts shows starting in the fall. I am going to be a volunteer for a quilt society week-long conference being held here in the valley in September. I do not remember the exact name, but it's about quilt history!! I will be able to participate in the workshops, vendors area, etc for free since I'll be volunteering! Yeah!!!
And of course I'll probably be more active on the QB since I can spend more time having fun!

Love the embroidered dish towels! Still have some that were my Grandmother's. She did the days of the week and different chores on them too.
Mary, your package has traveled so much, it's just resting now
