lovely teatowels (love embroidery and the bright colours). So sorry for the pets that have been lost. Our big old lab Barney (named after Barney Rubble in the Flintstones) died three years ago and he was such a gently big old giant, miss him still. Now we have a mad chocolate lab called Fudge, a skinny tabby cat with a gammy back leg which was abandoned by the mother, she's now seven, a black and white cat which was our neighbours who moved about a mile away but because the cat is friends with our dog he keeps coming back so he now lives here and another stray cat that turned up one day, big hairy teddy bear face with hardly any teeth and hardly any meat on him. My youngest daughter (15) would take any stray animal if she could.

Wow! Beautiful towels, Teresa!! Lucky SewBizGirl!!
LindaC, I'm like that too. I take care of a feral colony in my back yard, and that's where I culled my indoor kitties from. The outdoors kitties are mostly tame because I try to handle them when they are little, but I never turn away another stray that shows up! Just call me the Crazy Cat Lady of West Mesa!

I know... I'm a lucky girl! I have the green one with the 'skirt' (long ruffle) on it hanging up right now. It makes me smile just to look at it. I washed both of them and they got so nice and soft! Excellent towels.
